Employees of the Socorro Empowered People’s Cooperative (SOEMCO) actively participated in a Coastal Cleanup and Tree Planting activity, demonstrating the cooperative’s strong commitment to environmental protection and community responsibility.
The activity aimed to promote environmental awareness, reduce coastal waste, and help restore natural ecosystems through tree planting. SOEMCO employees worked hand in hand in collecting trash along the shoreline and planting trees, contributing to a cleaner environment and a more sustainable future.
Through this initiative, SOEMCO reinforced the importance of collective action in caring for the environment while encouraging employees to be responsible stewards of nature. The activity also fostered teamwork, unity, and a shared sense of purpose among participants.
